A felsőruha szabása/Pattern of the outer garment

Fekete öltözék a széles öbölránc fodorral ellátott selyem szoknyán, az előli kép kötény díszítéket mutatja 10 cm széles volántból, melyet könnyedén bodrozva 11 cm széles fekete csipke és apró gyöngybojtok ékítenek. A szabásáttekintés segítségével az előli rövid és szétálló felsőruhát készítjük el csíkos selyem grenadineből: a és b adják az elő- és oldalrészek alapidomát, a hátrészeket pedig c szerint készítjük. Miután a lebbenyderék hosszában mindkét oldal felé hozzáadott kelmét aláboruló ráncok által szűkítettük, a kissé csapínós oldalszéleket a sima oldalszélekkel (b) csillaggal csillagra, dúsan ráncolva összeillesztjük és a hátsó közepén a keresztek és pontok szerint két ráncot vetünk. A kendő díszíték gyöngyökkel és csipkékkel ékített grenadine rézs szeletből áll, melyet vállon és végein ráncoltan a szintén ráncolt előrészekhez simul; öv és csokrok 8 cm széles fekete atlasz és moiré szalagból.

Black outer garment on the silk skirt with wide pleat flounces, the front view shows the apron trimming of 4" wide volants, this easily ruffled with 4^1/2" wide black lace and trimmed with tiny bead tufts. With the help of the pattern the front short and opened outer garment can be made from stripy silk grenadine: a and b give the basic tracings of the front and side parts, the back parts made according to c. Afterwards the gore fabric narrowed down by under falling tucks given to the peplum bodice longways on both sides, the slightly bias side edges with the simple side edges (b) from star to star, joined with opulent pleats  and at the back middle according to the crosses and points two tucks given. The tucker decoration is from grenadine bias slice trimmed with beads and laces, this on the yoke and at the edges pleated and osculant with the also pleated front parts; belt and bows from 3" wide black atlas and moiré ribbon.
